Saskatchewan Council Scholarship Program recognizes the achievements of members while supporting them as they pursue their educational goals and rewarding career paths.
Scholarships are open to youth and adult members in Saskatchewan who are pursuing post-secondary education at a recognized college, university, or vocational program.
Applications for 2024 Saskatchewan Scholarships open February 13, 2024.
The application deadline is March 25, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. CT.

General requirements for all applicants
1. Applicant must be a current Girl Guides of Canada Member, active in Saskatchewan.
2. Applicant must have been a member of Girl Guides of Canada for a minimum of two years.
3. Applicant's current & previous roles within Guiding will be considered in the application process
4. Applicant must be enrolled in a post-secondary education at a recognized college, university or vocational program, with no less than 60% of the full time course load for the Fall 2024 semester.
5. Recipient is encouraged to continue their membership in Guiding for a minimum of one year after being awarded the scholarship
6. Applicant must not have previously received a Saskatchewan Council scholarship. Unsuccessful candidates may reapply.
Scholarship-specific requirements and details
Margaret Asquith-Morrey Scholarship
One scholarship for $1,000.00 will be awarded annually. The Margaret Asquith-Morrey Scholarship is a one-time scholarship so applicants may only receive this scholarship once in a lifetime. Applicants must be 25 years and younger.
Saskatchewan Council Scholarships
Two scholarships for $1,000.00 will be awarded annually. The Saskatchewan Council Scholarships are a one-time scholarship so applicants may only receive this scholarship once in a lifetime. One scholarship will be awarded to an applicant 25 years of age and younger and one for 26 years of age and older
